Task: Handover Service Delivery Environment
Ensure a smooth transition of all parts of the Service Delivery Environment to the Client, or the supplier for rented or leased items with the objective that the Client is fully capable of operating and maintaining the Service Delivery Environment that Capgemini has put in place.

Main Description

The Service Delivery Environment Supervision Manager must ensure that the handover of all items runs smoothly and in line with the planned approach. The list of handover activities to be performed with their completion timelines should be identified in this phase. Before starting with the handover activities, the resources required to execute these handover activities must be defined along with their roles and responsibilities. The terms and conditions on the handover activities should be put in place before commencing the handover actions.

At the time of Transition Handover-Out, the used items must be passed to the responsible owner like the Client, or another third party. Particularly the handover of any software must be accompanied by transferring all associated licenses. All the details of the Service Delivery Environment handover must be clearly documented and signed-off by the accepting party.
